Solutions to Water in Camera
Hello, y'all!
With a few big storms passing, it's time to find out what to do if you find water droplets in your camera lens.
The case of water or condensation in the camera lens can lead to blurred real-time images, and this is generally caused by 2 factors: Humidity and Temperature Difference between the air and the camera.
Condensation occurs on the warm side of the glass. For example, in summer there may be condensation in the morning on the outside of the camera lens.
Another example would be after a cool night, the air starts to get warmer, and the camera lens will appear foggy. This effect can be more evident in the wintertime.
With this in mind, it is important to choose the right installation environment for the camera. If your area is raining all year round and the camera is installed totally exposed to the air without any cover, even the camera is waterproof, it will be not suitable for the camera to be used in such an environment.
Of course, as machinery, the camera itself may also have hardware defects, resulting in water failure. For this case, we recommend that you bring the camera back inside (remove from original installation point) and wipe the camera lens with a dry cloth. If the water is still in the camera lens, please contact Zosi after-sale support at: service@zositech.com, provide a photo of the camera lens, a screenshot of the LiveView page, and the purchase invoice, we will help you to troubleshoot the problem and guide you to the appropriate replace/refund request if necessary.
