Introductions to the Account & Password
Hello, y'all!
Account and password problems have been the most frequent category of requests for help received by our customer service colleagues.
Therefore, today I would like to introduce the Account & Password Setting and answer the FAQ for you. You can just read one article to know about all the setting info about the account & password!
In general, there are two types of accounts that you may use in the course of using Zosi products:
1. Zosi Account
The Zosi Account is the account used to log in to the Zosi Smart APP and AVSS_Client PC program, which is the account you register when you first use the APP.
A Zosi account can be registered with your cell phone number or email address, there is no special requirements for the email address you use, if your email address can send out or receive emails normally, it usually can be used to make registration.
2. Zosi DVR/PoE NVR System Account
The default Zosi system account is separate from the Zosi account, and is only used when you log in to the system. Please note that the Zosi system’s default username is "admin" (all lowercase, no quotations), and there is no default password. You may be able to leave the password field blank.
After successfully logging into the system for the first time, you will be able to go to system's Main Menu - Setup - User - Change password to set a new password. (Please keep the old password blank, you just need to input the new password and confirm password.)
If you have reset and forgotten your password, please don't worry, we are happy to assist you in creating a super password for login, only some simple information needs to be verified - order information and the model number & device ID / UID of your DVR / PoE NVR system.
