Why Is My SD Card Not Recording?
Hello, y'all!
For those who don't like the cloud storage feature, equipping the camera with an SD card is a great way to watch video playback. However, we did receive some feedback from users that they couldn't find any recordings on the Micro SD card when they tried to play back recordings from their camcorder.
There are several possible reasons for this issue, and we will list them all in this article for users to see if they missed any details when searching for footage using the playback feature.
Cause 1. The micro SD card cannot be recognized by Zosi cameras.
Solution: Please check the micro SD card to see whether it could been recognized via the SD card's information.
Here is a help article about how to choose the SD card which is compatible with Zosi products for your reference:

Cause 2. Incorrect recording settings.
Solution: Please enter Zosi Smart APP and check which kind of the recording you already set.
Cause 3. The camera fails to trigger the alarm.
Solution: Please try triggering the motion detection and check the signs of the alarm:
a. Check Motion Icon (a red man running) on the screen;
b. Check Push Notification or Email Alerts;
c. Check Audio Alarm.
About how to enable the motion detection function, please refer to this help article:

Cause 4. The SD card is defective.
Solution: Please take out the SD card and insert it again to see if it works.
Please test the SD card on your computer and see whether the SD card can be read and written. If it doesn't, please use another SD card to see if it works.
If the alarm can be triggered properly but still no recordings found in the SD card, please try to format your SD card into FAT32 once again to test whether the camera can save the recordings.
