This article works for All Zosi DVRs / NVRs and Smart Cameras (exclude the cameras in DVR / NVR security kits).
Device ID / UID (Unique ID) is a 20-digit string of numbers and letters needed when you access your Zosi DVRs / NVRs / cameras from Mobile app / desktop / laptop.
You need to connect Zosi DVRs / NVRs / cameras to a router and make sure that they have access to the Internet. Then with Device ID / UID, username and password, you are able to access your Zosi DVRs / NVRs / cameras remotely. Check details in How to access Zosi products remotely.

As for how to find the Device ID / UID of Zosi DVRs / NVRs / cameras, generally, there are two methods:
Method 1: Find Device ID / UID on Camera Body / DVR Box / NVR Box.
Method 2: If the QR code has lost or faded and you may not be able to read it from the sticker, you can also reboot the DVR / NVR system and wait until Wizard Page display, then find the UID.
Method 3: You can also go to DVR / NVR Main Menu - Information - System to find the Device ID.
Scan the code "Device ID" to pair the system.
For the IP camera, find Device ID / UID via Local Search.
