Applies to: All Zosi DVRs, NVRs and Cameras (exclude the cameras in DVR/NVR security kits).
UID is a 20-character code and it is the camera/DVR/NVR's unique ID that used to connect to the internet remotely. Use device ID/UID to add your camera//DVR/NVR on Zosi Smart app or AVSS Client, you can access them remotely. Check details in How to connect your DVR/NVR through Zosi Smart APP
There are five methods to find the device ID/UID number of your camera/DVR/NVR. Please note: Cameras in DVR/NVR kits do not have device ID/UID.
1-Find the device ID/UID on the body of your camera/DVR/NVR.
The device ID/UID number is on the QR code sticker, below the QR code is the device ID/UID number, it mainly ends with "111A" as below pictures show:
2-Find the device ID/UID on DVR/NVR system wizard.
You can reboot the DVR / NVR system and wait until Wizard Page display, then find the UID.
3-Find the device ID/UID on DVR/NVR system: Main Menu > Information > System
4-Find the device ID/UID on Zosi Smart app on your phone.
Login your device on the Zosi Smart app on your cellphone, you can find the device ID/UID number both on the device info page.
5-Find the device ID/UID on AVSS client on your computer.
Login your device on the AVSS client on your computer, you can find the device ID/UID number both on the device management page.
