Solutions to 8-channel PoE NVR Random Video Loss Problem
Hello, y'all!
Recently, we have received some feedback, indicating that in the 8-channel POE NVR system connected to the camera, there is a problem: only four cameras can work properly, the other four will take turns randomly or directly all display video loss.
If you in front of the screen also encountered this problem, do not worry, after communication and confirmation with the technical department, we have summarized several possible causes of this situation, you can refer to the following list of troubleshooting tips to see if you can solve it:
Applies to: POE NVRs,16DK-1058W8-30-US
Cause 1: Confirm the connection between the POE NVR and the cameras, poor connection is the most common factor leading to video loss problems.

Cause 2: Check the power supply of the NVR.
Incorrect NVR power supply may lead to video loss problem, please try a different power outlet; if possible, you may also change the DC power adapter to try again.
Tips*: For the output voltage of Zosi DC power adapter, please refer to this table below:
Cause 3: The NVR may have a random reboot situation, resulting in video signal loss.
You can determine if the NVR has this problem by checking the status of the power indicator display on the front of the NVR. Rebooting will cause the NVR's power indicator to go out.
If the NVR is confirmed to have this problem, this following help article is for your reference:

Note*: Upgrade step by step instructions are included in each update file introduction article.
Cause 5: The compatibility issue between HDD and NVR.
If you purchase the HDD by yourself, please check the spec and type of the HDD;
If the HDD is original, you can check the following:
Please turn off the power of the NVR and unplug the HDD from it, then power the NVR on to test whether the issue can be fixed when no HDD plugged.
Cause 6: Defective NVR.
If the DC adapter works properly, please check if the Power LED on the front panel of the NVR can light on.
